On November 29, 2022, a delegation headed by the rector of Turkey’s Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorazmi.
During the visit, a discussion was held and mutual opinions were exchanged. General information about the two universities was given and thoughts were given about their achievements today.
Tashkent University of Information Technologies is considered a first-class university in the field of IT in Uzbekistan, TUIT Rector Bakhtior Makhkamov said.
He noted that the University is the owner of several international grants. For example, he cited grants from organizations such as JAICA and KOICA in the amount of about 6 million US dollars.
The university has 6 branches across Uzbekistan. Rector Bakhtior Makhkamov added that he has been cooperating with 47 foreign universities in 26 foreign countries.
After the discussion, the delegation of Bilecik Sheikh Edebali University was introduced to the conditions created in the university.
During the meeting, it was mutually agreed on the practical development of cooperation, which began with the signing of a bilateral memorandum.
